Emerald of Chaos (Chapter 1)
"Are you sure about this?" Sonic asked uneasily. A look of concern washed over his face.
"Trust me. I'll be fine. I have done these things a billion times," Tails calmly responded.
"Yeah, but you said you had not tested everything to make sure it was okay. What if something goes wrong?" Sonic persisted.
"Hey, you are usually the worry-free guy. What has gotten into you? It will be fine. I promise. We have to have to make sure to stop Eggman. Who knows what he will do."
Sonic was about to protest again, but he eventually gave in. He hopped up onto the left wing of the X Tornado, while Tails climbed into the cockpit and started the plane.
The X Tornado had changed in appearance multiple times over the last few months. Right know, it was made of a prototype metal that was similar to steel but supposedly stronger. The metal glimmered brightly in the Sun and produced a clear reflection of Sonic. The interior stayed pretty much the same. Red padding Emerald of Chaos (Chapter 1) by ~IncognitoArtist

Echos Across The Void Part 3
The portal hung in the air, just above the ground. It looked a little bit like a watery disc, with ripples moving across it’s surface. Grandmaster Zac and Adrik worked at the controls, trying to stabalize the portal, while June-La patted and soothed The Device, trying to convince it to keep the portal open. Lieutenant Bullet stood back and frowned. There was no telling what was on the other side.
“Why do I get the feeling this is a bad idea?” he growled.
Kiara-Ne glanced at Bullet and smirked.
“What’s wrong, Lieutenant,” she said, “afraid?”
Bullet glared at her and snorted.
